Cappuccino's

As some might have guessed I gave up coffee for Lent this year, it was probably the hardest thing I have given up so far. I am SO glad I did it though! In taking this long break from it I found out just how much I hate how it makes me feel! I hate the caffeine effect, but love the rich creamy taste of a cappuccino. I was so much calmer without the caffeine, less rushed and could think clearer. I still love coffee but it is going to be kept at a minimum from now on, more like once or twice a week instead of three to four times a week. I have to say too, now that I can have it I don't really want it. It was really fun to get up early Easter morning and make an iced cappuccio and hide Easter eggs:)

Are you a big coffee drinker?
Have you ever given it up before?

Have a wonderful day!

Roma day {3}

It was a beautiful morning

for some amazing cappuccinos at an adorable coffee house!

Victor Emmanuel. I still remember coming around the corner and not expecting to see this! I think my jaw dropped! It was huge and beautiful!
My camera always in hand! I was rediculous! For every one of these pictures there are at least ten more! haha

A little pit stop at the cutest and yummiest restaurant!
That is an amazing beer if you're wondering:) Affligem Red.

I'm going back some day:)
Just a little midnight snack and some wine before we headed back for the night!
This is where I would fill up my water bottle every night on our walk back to the hostel!

Ciao,
I hope you are having a great week!

Monday

Today's personal challenge ~ Be Grateful!
I so badly want to like Monday's! Why can't they be like Friday's? Here's the thing I mostly don't understand; I am so tired on Monday! I just had two days off, why should I be tired?! Especially if I didn't have much going on and I had plenty of sleep over the weekend. It doesn't make any sense to me! I guess those two days are just enough to get me out of my weekly routine! With trying to stick with my challenge here are some positives about Monday's.

~ After my long day at my real job I get to go to my fun "job", coaching figure skating. It's NOT a job in my mind at all! I can't believe I actually get payed for it!

~ I am grateful that we get weekends off:)

~ I am grateful that I have a reason to get up and get going!

Here's how I get going on Monday's...
and exercise!

OR: Sleep through the alarm and avoid it all together!Witch is what happened to me this morning! Talk about having to get your sh* together fast on a Monday morning! Haha I did pretty darn good woke up at 7:54 and got to work by 8:12AM! Thank God I only live three miles from work! Sad to say there was NO cappuccino this morning, let alone breakfast! I wrote this entry last night and I think I jinxed myself! HA

Happy Monday all! How do you feel about Monday's?
Ciao,
Rachel
