Maybe this is a vent // follow through

There is one thing that I have always tried to do in my relationships with people, weather it be family, friends, co-worker, or even a patient. 

Follow Through! 

Doing what I say I will do. I feel like it is a huge factor for me in a relationship. I can't stand when someone tells me they are going to do something and they don't follow through! It's my biggest pet peeve. Those people who throw stuff out there like "we should hang out sometime, I should have you over for dinner, lets take a trip to...," you get what I'm saying, and they never follow through! Don't give me meaningless words just to make conversation if you don't intend to follow through. 

I feel there are few people in my life who I actually trust to follow through and will be there for me when I need them. This is HUGE to me and I love them so much for it. I have found that I hardly ever get excited about any plans with certain people, because they will most likely drop the ball. And I don't always trust people very easily or very readily because the disappointment isn't worth it. Am I expecting too much of people? I honestly don't think so, because if I say I am going to do something for someone, I am going to do all I can to follow through.   

   

I very rarely judge a person by what they say, I watch and observe their actions and decide if they deserve my trust and friendship.
