Sunshine

This is when I love Minnesota! The summer's are amazing, and are so welcome after a long winter! The spring was a little disappointing this year, but I have high hopes for summer:) I don't have any major plans this year but it's the little things in life that are the best.

---------------------------------------------------------------

~  Hot sunny days by the pool with a book, and tons of swimming with nieces and nephews

~  Many long bike rides

~  I want to run the Brat Trot in less than 30 min. Last years time = 4.2 miles in 30:40 min:sec

~  A trip to Chicago in a couple of weeks to visit this sweet Momma to be

~  Going to my first ever horse race

~  Visiting the winery a couple of times and actually being able to sit outside

~  Our annual Fourth of July bash

~  Ice cold summer shandy

~  Maybe a Twins game

~  Doing more yoga and pilates and less running

~  More reading

~  More timelessness

~  Less coffee more iced tea (gasp:)

~  More prayer

~  Finding the one.....:):)?? wish me luck

What are your hopes for the summer?

Ciao,
Rachel

  1. Yeah, but if the iced tea is anything like what your mom makes for us.....then skip the coffee!!!!! =) It sounds like you have a beautiful summer planned. I can't wait for you to get here already!

I'm definitely gonna miss your 4th of July bash this year. I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by already. June is almost here!!!

I'm looking forward to making the most of the next three and a half months and getting ready for this baby. I have so much cleaning to do to finish getting ready. Careful, I might put you to work when you come! I think you motivate me, just a little =)

    Have a great weekend, chica!

  2. Less coffee more tea!?!? OMG I could never. Used to drink tea all the time when I lived with my parents and now I can't make it like mom does so I drink coffee. This list sounds perfect!
