My life lately has been filled with so many blessings, and celebrating life!
Last weekend I was finally able to make it cross country skiing! Something I have been trying to do all winter, I was mostly waiting for snow so I could make it happen! I loved it! It was so peaceful and calming to be outside absorbing the beauty that surrounded me. It was a great workout too, that's always a big plus in my book=)
I made a new recipe, Tagliatelle ai Funghi Porcini, that was delicious if I do say so myself! I mean how can you go wrong when re-hydrating dried mushrooms with wine? I think I will be making this recipe again!
This pasta with some salmon was oh so yummy!
Spending time on the ice is one of my absolutely favorite things ever! But being able to be on the ice twice in one week?? AMAZING! My hips may be feeling it though:) Feeling so blessed and grateful to God for this talent! When I am on the ice I am home, and I am completely free from everything else that is going on in my life!

I am so excited about this cute whole in the wall organic coffee house I just found! The coffee was delicious and the atmosphere and music were amazing! I can't wait to go back and try their homemade muffins and scones! After Lent, I gave up sweets;)
My co-workers and I threw a surprise baby shower for this beautiful Mama!
Oh my goodness she was so surprised she cried (Pregnancy hormones:)! Even though we all almost spilled the beans multiple times! haha
She is having a boy, Axel! So we had a new born hat made for him! Oh what a fun night it was! It was so fun to surprise her and see her face light up with joy=) It's the greatest feeling in the world to give another person joy!
One of my co-workers made this adorable baby belly cake!!!
