Brunch in Chicago

Happy Friday!
Today I am going back to June and my wonderful trip to Chicago to visit my bff!

Brunch breakfast whatever, to me it's the best meal of the day! If you couldn't tell by my last post, an egg bake!

La Pain Quotidien
French translation The Daily Bread.

Every time I visit Maggie we take a day to go into the city (Chicago) and we like to try and find a new restaurant. This time her Mother in law suggested this amazing bakery and communal table La Pain Quotidien, that only serves the freshest ingredients and all organic! I'm like "we are SO going there Maggie!!" It started out in Brussels just as a bread bakery and communal table, it is now an international chain that serves much more than just bread.

I loved the atmosphere! Homey and rustic.

Fresh squeezed lemonade that was amazing!
Maggie's younger sister loved watching the bread maker in the window!
The waffles were so hearty and actually filling.

Maggie and her brother!

It was definitely a delicious and relaxing brunch with some amazing company! I am so glad that we made it happen. I miss you all!!!

Have you tried any new restaurants lately?

Ciao,
Rachel
