You know how I have been wanting to get on a plain and go somewhere? Well I did just that a couple weekends ago!!! I made the BEST SURPRISE visit to a dear friend in Chicago on her engagement weekend! Incredible!

I obviously said heck YES I'll make it happen!
Up at 4 AM to make my early morning flight the next Saturday to CHICAGO:) I love flying!
Sam picked me up from the airport and we had time to kill because Maggie was still at home. So first things first and most importantly COFFEE!
And Sam so kindly let me get my nails done:) He's so nice!
So happy to see Maggie's Mom! I love you Ma ma D!

On the train ride into the city Maggie text me that she was engaged! She also tried calling me.....I couldn't answer though, because she would have heard the train conductor announcing the names of the stops. You see I made her promise me that she had to call me right away because I didn't want to find out any other way, but from her. I felt so bad for not answering her call BUT little did she know I was on a train into the city to celebrate with them! he he
I LOVE CHICAGO!
I have never heard her scream so loud! It was awesome! I really wish that we had a video of it.
She even cried!

ReplyDeleteI'm still saying "wow, wow, wow" because I had absolutely NOOO clue that you were coming to surprise me!!! I wish we had a video too, but all these pictures say so much about the moment. I'm just really glad we have these pictures!!!
