I love the theatre! There is something about a story being told live, with the actors right in front of you, no special effects no camera angles just pure creativity! A couple weekends ago I went to "The Philadelphia Story" at Commonweal Theatre Company my favorite theatre! It's in small town Lanesboro MN. I have been going there with my family since I can remember. There plays never disappoint and they are always a classic story, good clean fun, and their comedies are laugh out loud make your tummy hurt funny! The town itself is cute with lots of fun shops and some really good restaurants, with home cooked grown fresh food! I love an evening in Lanesboro. There is a great martini bar too!

The Philadelphia Story was excellent and I can't wait to go to the The Drawer Boy next weekend!

ahhh I love going to the theatre. There is something so elegant feeling about it, right? I really want to go to a play in NYC...I feel like that would be the ultimate theatre experience!
ReplyDeleteMy husband sort of introduced me to the love for theatre. His family has a tradition to go to NYC every year in December to see a play. I love that I am part of that tradition now. My first play was Le Miserables, that play was just too beautiful...

I love theatre going but its been so long since i actually have. And I live not far from the Orphium and Guthrie so I really don't have any excuse! Hmm...may something to add to a bucket list =)
