Skate Canada

All right there is just way too much football on TV for me. I think it's a little overboard. I won't bore you with my analogy of grown overpaid men fighting over a ball:) So I am here to inform you of other...even better sports that are out there:) I love this sport called figure skating! This past Sunday the second stop of the Grand Prix of figure skating took place with Skate Canada. Javier Fenandez you may be my new favorite skater! He was the men's gold medalist at the event from Spain. Your long program was awesome. So artistic and entertaining and AMAZING! Three quad attempts, landed two of them and the third one was late in the program and.... in combination! Unbelievable really! The next Timothy Goeble AKA the quad king? Maybe! I can't wait to watch him improve over the season.

Other big news in the skating world. Johnny Weir is coming back!!  Gasp. gasp. what? Johnny queer! He likes the attention that's what my Mom and I say. Also he is doing Cup of Russia, for some reason he has a thing for Russia. Oh oh and the next winter Olympics are in Russia. hmm... Should be an interesting competition, I can't wait. He always adds a certain flair....I think he is just too much for me.
Anyway it was another fun Sunday afternoon watching figure skating!

Don't be offended football fans your sport will probably always be more popular....

Any skating fans out there?

But mine will always be superior:)
